Finishing my job and what it's taught me

I wrote a blog post a few weeks ago about Opening Up and within it I explained that I'd finished my job. A scary thought when you're looking for a job but haven't got one yet. Going through it has taught me a few things, I've had a few revelations and I'd just love to share some tips if you are thinking about leaving a job or have just lost your job etc...

Things I'm loving at the moment

This isn't really a monthly favourites that I'm posting, it's just an accumulation of things I've been loving over the past few months. I had a few posts lined up around the start of the month so I thought I'd write a general things I'm loving at the moment post.

Tips for the Post University Lifestyle

A few weeks ago I was invited back to my old university - Sheffield Hallam - for an annual Grad Talk, where these graduates are invited back to talk about their experiences after university and entering the working life.

I was wondering what to post about next and looking through my old posts, I haven't written a post university one yet. So bingo. Here you go.

Review: NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Walkyrie

Matte nude shades have really been on-trend and I've really been getting into them. I found the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in my stash so from ages ago. I think I got it in a Cohorted beauty box a while ago and have been hooked for the past few months! So I thought I'd write up a little review for you guys.

Cocktail Masterclass with Loves Cocktails #NottsCocktails17

Last week (Friday) I was lucky enough to be invited to a cocktail masterclass in Nottingham, with some other lovely East Midlands Bloggers. The event was organised by Loves Cocktails at Brass Monkey Cocktail Bar. Here's a little peek at what we got up to...

Book Review: The Reader on the 6.27 by Jean-Paul Didierlaurent

As you all know by now, ever since I read The Girl on the Train, I've found it hard to get into another book just because of how engrossed and obsessed I became with it. I went out a few weeks after, with the aim to keep reading, and bought The Reader on the 6.27. But never properly got round to reading it until now... (I'm sorry this is another book review, I had scheduled this before my previous one but that needed to go up first)

Book Review: Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

If you've not heard of the book and now Netflix series, Thirteen Reasons Why, where have you been? It has become such a massive hit that I couldn't help but but go out and buy the book. So, I'm going to share my thoughts on it. Hope you enjoy it. (Sorry for any spoilers)

The Harry Potter Tag: Would You Rather

So I'm switching it up completely for this post. I thought I'd do some fun and something I haven't done in a while actually. I did a Harry Potter Tag ages ago on my blog, and recently came across a Would You Rather HP tag so of course I wanted to fit it into my blog because of the HUGE HP fan that I am. (I've even been to Warner Bros Studios - amazing and would love to go back!)

I also thought I'd mix up my content and posts... So here ya go!
