Review: Topshop Highlighter

So, I've really been getting into highlighting lately and any excuse to buy another one and I'll take it.

I'd heard so much about the Topshop Highlighter, previously, but just never picked up. So a few weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge and give it a go.

They do a few different highlighters but I decided to go for a shade called Horizon.

I wasn't too keen on the Topshop packaging at first but I'm growing to quite like it. It reminds me a little of a chalk board and I like that they've kept it simple.

The shade I went for isn't your normal goldy/silvery colour and shimmer (although they do, do them) It's a bronzey/brown which really stood to me. Being Asian my skin tone is darker so this just adds that little bit of shimmer without being too vivid.

I've got the 'normal' shades of highlighter so wanted to try something different. I've been using the highlighter for the past few weeks and am really growing to like it. Like I said, it just adds a slight shimmer and makes my cheek bones pop.

Its a great one to layer and build up to however shimmery you want.

For £10, I'd recommend giving this highlighter a go. It's a good pigment and lasts all day, as I've had a few compliments when wearing it. Give it a go if you're looking for a high street highlighter. I've never used Topshop make-up but I'm pretty impressed with this product. So I might have to give more of it a try.

Let me know if you've tried any of the Topshop highlighters. Or even other products in their range. Always need an excuse to buy more make-up!

  1. If black off shoulder dress keeps women a sense of mystery. Then blue lace pencil dress shows the neat and pure of a girl.
