Primark Contour Kit

I was just having a little browse around Primark when I came across a 3 piece contour kit. So you get a highlighter, bronze and contour. And it's not powder its pens/sticks. I was pretty intrigued to see if they actually work.

The pack comes like this and for £3 it's not too bad. I like that there's a little image on the packaging to show you where to use the three different shades if you aren't sure.

I'm not massively sure I'd buy this 3pcs again. I didn't notice a massive difference with the highlighter on, even though I am definitely darker skinned. Maybe I needed to use a bit more.

The contour shade is very strong and definitely needs blending in properly otherwise you'll just have brown lines down your face. I'd recommend keeping your foundation brush on hand in case you have to blend it into your foundation colour.

I really liked the bronze shade though. It's just a light touch of colour and could almost be used a blusher.

One thing I really liked about this is that you can still wear your foundation and concealer base and add this on top without it feeling too cakey.

It's always been one of the reasons I've been weary about trying cream contours as I'm not a fan caked on make up. But this great for wearing on top of your base make up.

It's not a bad kit but you get what you pay for. I think this would be a great starter kit and for £3 it's not going to break the bank.

Let me know if you've ever tried this 3 piece. Or any other cheaper versions of contour kits you've found.
