My Everyday Make-up

I was wondering what to do as my next post when I came across a few 'everyday make-up routines' so I thought I'd show you my everyday make-up. I don't think I've ever done a post like this but it gives you a little look into my beauty items.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation & Laura Geller Spackle Primer

If you read my recent make-up haul, you'll know these are new additions to my make-up bag and so far I'm loving both of them. I love how easy Born This Way is to blend and you can build it up to the coverage you want. It's one of those foundations where you can see the difference yourself.

This primer was recommended to me by the beauty advisor because I had dry skin and since she's told me that I've started to notice it more. But I have found this primer helps. As 'un beauty bloggery' as this is, I rarely see faults in primers. If they hold my make-up they do the job. Someone please let me know if there's another way to judge a primer?

L'oreal True Match Concealer Pen

When I went to get colour matched for my foundation, the advisor used the Laura Geller Concealer Crayon and I loved the look it gave. Well ever since I've been trying to find a drugstore dupe so when I came across the True Match I decided to give it a go. It's only been a week or so but I find it's great for under eye as you can build it up. I still Collection Lasting Perfection on my spots and blemishes but this gives a brighter look under eyes.

Body Shop Blusher & Rimmel Stay Matte

Out of everything from The Body Shop, this blusher is the one thing I've never been able to fault. It gives a light wash of colour which I prefer during the day. My powder - Rimmel Stay Matte - is the one make-up item that has never changed in my collection. It does exactly what it needs to so I've never felt the need to try another powder.

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer

The chocolate bronzer is another new addition to my make-up bag and I'm still not sure what I think of it. It's been hyped up so much that I gave in and decided to try it. But I'm still 50/50 on it. I'll let you know what I think.

Primark Pen Liner

The Primark Pen Liner is something I've gone back to. I used it towards the end of last year and then decided to try the Collection Pen Liner for bit. However 6 months I found myself wanting to go back to the Primark one and have re-kindled my love for it. I think I wrote a blog post on it actually. To me it's just as good as other brands but cheaper.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Ok I'm going to say it. The Better Than Sex Mascara is hands down the best Mascara I've used. (I've done a post on this too) I bought it about 6 months ago and haven't regretted it since. I know so many people go on about the Benefit Mascaras and I do like them but for me this just seems to work better. It lengthens, adds volumes, makes my lashes look fuller... I don't see myself changing mascara's any time soon.

So that's my everyday make-up, I'd love to know if you use any of these items. And what's in your everyday make-up.

  1. I brought the chocolate bronzer because of the hype around it too and i'm not that blown away from it either :/

    1. Hmm I agree. I'm going to give it some time to see if I change my mind though x

  2. Love Rimmel Stay Matte. I do use Benefit They're Real and Roller Lash, but I've heard such good things about Too Faced I might have to try it!

    1. Stay Matte has always been my go-to. I tried Roller Lash but it wasn't for me. Love Too Faced though. Give it a try x
