I've been patiently waiting for my Cohorted Beauty Box ever since the 1st September hit. It's my first one and after hearing so much about them, when I got the email for the Sept one I knew I had to give it a try.
And it's safe to say I wasn't disappointed when I came home to find it sitting on my bed. Considering I paid about £20 for it, at first glance it's worth it. I want to do this as an intro/haul post and then post another one a few weeks down the line to give you an update on what I think of the products.
So opening it I had no idea what to expect, how many items they'd send me or what kind of beauty items they'd be. But this is what I got...
A selection of 5 beauty products.
Gucci Shower Cream - I just saw Gucci and thought I don't care what it is, it's going to amazing. It smells really creamy if that's even possible, sweet, a bit like the Gucci perfumes.
Molton Brown Shower and Bath Gel - Another shower product but this smells totally different to the Gucci. It smells really sea-y and fresh like it says on the bottle - 'seamossy.' I love that both these bottles are small so perfect travel size.
Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer - This might be shock horror to some but I'd never heard of 'the Balm' until I opened this beauty box. I'm pretty excited to give this a go as I've been looking for another primer to compete with my UD one. Primers always an essential so they thought well here.
NARS Walkyrie Velvet Matte Lip Pencil - *Jumps in excitement. I finally own a Nars product* Again shock horror to some but this is my first Nars beauty item. It's never been an item I could afford so getting this was probably one of the best items in the box. It's a very neutral pinky brown so perfect for the autumn/winter. I've only just realised it compliments the eyeshadow palette in the box as well.
the Balm Nude'tude Eyeshadow Palette - The final item was a nude eyeshadow palette. I love the mix of shades - matte and shimmer. They're perfect everyday shades as well as more dressed up. (Sorry about my lovely reflection in the palette mirror)
I can't wait to give all these items an try and I'll give you an update in 4 or 5 weeks letting you know what I think of them. I'm definitely going to be placing another Cohorted Beauty Box order in the future.
