Mothers Day Present: What I Bought Her

Sunday was Mothers Day in the UK and going home from uni was a last minute decision so I kind of bought my mum's present last minute. And where's one of the best places to buy presents last minute... notonthehighstreet.com

I love that website for presents, they're all that cheap but there's some really quirky, cute, different things on there. If I'm looking for something special I'll always head to Not on the Highstreet. Anyway, browsing on there, one thing really caught my eye and it was a...

Personalised Mother's Day Gift

It was a small (and when I say small I mean small, I didn't quite realise how small til I opened it) box of keepsakes. The box comes like this with this pretty little string around it.

It comes with a teeny-tiny letter which you're supposed to read with the magnifying glass you also get in the present.

The letter explains everything in the little box and how they reflect a mother's trait i.e. A jigsaw puzzle because life wouldn't be complete without you... You could personalise the envelope and the end of the letter to give it a little personal touch.

I'd loved this present. It's something different and I'm not sure if it's just me but I feel like my mum has everything so giving her this was just something cute and unique. For £14.95 it wasn't the cheapest thing and thinking about it now, I probably could've made it myself but shopping that late it didn't cross my mind. And I don't think I'd have had the time with uni work. But I'd definitely recommend this for next year.

They also do other little keepsakes like this for birthdays and weddings etc. Not on the highstreet sell some really cute and unique personalised presents so it's definitely one to check out.

Hope you guys had a great Mothers Day with your mum's. What did you get her? Have you bought anything from notonthehighstreet before?

Happy Shopping x
