Review: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

When I heard Benefit were releasing a new mascara I got pretty excited but when I heard they were including a sample size in Elle's March Issue I got even more excited. The first thing I did, like many beauty bloggers, was run to the shops to pick up a copy and try it out.
I've read a few reviews already of this mascara and was expecting the best thing ever. The outside of the packaging is definitely Benefit-y and pretty. And I couldn't wait to open it and try it.
When I opened it, the brush was a little disappointing. I'm not a fan of plastic brushes but this one surprised me as I found it to be just as good as other brushes. I did find the bristles to be a little small but that might be because this is only a sample size. Like I said expecting the next best mascara I couldn't wait to try. But I'm still undecided. It definitely gives my lashes length, a lot of length and volume but I found it made them look a bit clumpy. I want a mascara that gives my lashes volume and even though this one does maybe not as much as I want.

I like the curve shaped brush as it's easier to apply to the curve of your lashes and you can follow them round.  It seems like a good mascara maybe I just need to give it time.

Have you tried this mascara? What did you think?
Happy Shopping x

    1. It's ok. I'm glad it's helped. Honestly I have moments where I now see it's potential. But I'm not convinced I'd spend £19 on it. x
