Boots and Superdrug Makeup Haul

My bank balance has taken a bit of a beating since moving back to uni. The temptation to go makeup shopping, with town being so close, has been high. Well I wouldn't be a blogger if I didn't give in a few times. So here's what I've been wisely spending my money on over the past week.
Nail Varnish
I went through a nail varnish obsession phase around last year. So much that my collection is now pretty excessive. But I've been meaning to buy a nude shade for ages as I seemed to have misplaced my other one. Going into Superdrug or Boots (can't remember which one) expecting to only walk out with one colour, the two for £6, enticed me to just buy another one. I'm not sure what orange will look like on me but I just wanted to try something.
I then wondered over to the seventeen counter and apparently thought one nude wasn't enough so bought another. I think this purchase was because I had an offer voucher. You can never have too many nail varnishes can you?

With spring/summer coming, I seem to be liking pinky shades and found my collection lacking. That meant one thing - lipstick shopping! I wanted to try something new and Seventeen was my choice of brand.
Day-glo, £1.50 (on offer in Boots)
If You Please, £4.99
If You Please, Day-glo.
I've heard so much about Revlon Lip Butter's that I randomly thought I'd buy one and see what the hype was about.
Revlon, Sweet Tart, £7.99
I had to buy another pinky shade. I think this will be quite a light, subtle, tint pinky colour.
Makeup Revolution, Beloved, £1
This is probably the purchase I'm really excited about - MY FIRST EVER MAKEUP REVOLUTION ITEM (SHOCK HORROR). I went for something a little daring and different, a matte shade. I have no idea what this'll look like on me but I guess I'll find out. Again, in pink!

Collection, Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner, £2.99
I've had a bit of a struggle finding an eyeliner which compares to the Soap and Glory one, so when I found the Primark one I was pretty excited. Well searching the Collection stand for the nail varnish, I came across this eyeliner. It was one someone had actually recommended to me. Being the one thing I've already used from this haul, I have to say it is pretty good. But more time will tell.

I can't wait to try all of these out. I've had to restrain myself from using the lippies until I did these swatches.

Have you tried any of these things? Let me know.
Happy Shopping x
