Lip faves

I recently decided to buy a few bits and bobs for your lips, so thought I'd share my faves with you.

Lip Scrub

I found this 'Santa's lip scrub' in Lush over Christmas and shamefully, as I've never tried one before I decided to give it a go. Honestly, I love it! It leaves your lips feeling so soft, it smells amazing and TASTES AMAZING TOO! Yes, it's edible and cola flavoured. If you've never used a Lush lip scrub before, you just put it on your lips, leave it on for a few seconds and lick it off - genius! I'd definitely recommend trying one. It's great if you've got dry lips and like I said, it tastes yummy too.

If you know me, you know I like my lipsticks. So when I saw Body Shop lipsticks on sale, I just had to buy one. I've recently started buying a lot more 'day' lipsticks as I've found my perfect going out red one. There were only a few colours left in the store and I picked this one. It's a pinky/mauve shade and great to wear with any outfit.

I've never owned any Body Shop make-up but I really like this lipstick. It's a nice, light, every day colour. It's easy to use and glides on. I'm not sure if it's still available in stores as this one of the few on sale. But they do sell it online, so grab it quick. I paid £7 for it but somehow online it says £6 - so an even better reason to buy it!

(I'm not sure if you can see it in this picture but I've got it on! It's such a cute colour.)

Brand: The Body Shop
Shade Name: Pinkette
Shade No: 69

I love both of these products and as a newbee to both, I'll definitely be buying more. Give them a go, they won't disappoint.

  1. Ooh I love Lush Lip Scrubs! I have the bubblegum flavoured one and it's so nice. I like to use it at night a few times a week then follow it with loads of lipbalm just before going to bed. It's made my lips loads less dry :)
