Outfit of the Day

I thought I'd share with you my outfit of the day...

Skirt, top and scarf combo.

The skirt matched my phone case!

Top: Primark, Skirt: Small, Local Shop - Melody, Cardigan: H&M and Scarf: Christmas Markets

I got sick of wearing jeans every day so decided to change up a little with a skirt combo. Of course I wore extra thick cotton tights (Primark ones are the best!) and a coat on top. I bought these items a few months ago so they probably won't still be in stock but you can always find alternatives. And if you remember to wrap up, this a great alternative autumn look.

Happy Autumn x

My must-have!

I recently decided to try a new foundation and wanted to try something a bit more expensive. I'm not a massive beauty freak but when it comes to foundation I think you need a good one. It should glide on effortlessly and blend smoothly. You need a good quality foundation and that's why I don't mind spending a little more on it.

I knew I wanted to well known brand but I didn't know what! I walked in a 'well-known' department store (not mentioning names) and the first brand I saw was Benefit. I've always loved their products just never bought em, so decided it had to a benefit foundation...

One of my hates is when a girls wear foundation that's 10 shades to light or dark for her! I couldn't be one of em and having never used this foundation I got professional advice.

At £25.50 it is an expensive foundation but it's worth and it'll last you. They have 4 different shades - not many - but they cover skin types and it is really good! And with SPF 15 in it, it'll keep you protected in summer ;).

It matches my skin tone perfectly which is what I wanted -not to look orange! I'd definitely recommend getting help if it's your first time using Benefit.

I love it though, it's easy to put on. It's not too heavy either; I hate when you can feel foundation on your skin, this feel light and wearable. I'd definitely recommend buying it if you're looking for a good quality foundation.

Have fun shopping. x

It was Halloween on Thursday and of course I decided to get dressed up and go out. So I thought I'd share my Halloween fancy dress idea with you.

I decided to dress up as scary/bloody school girl...

I bought a plain shirt from Primark and decided to 'bloody' it up with fake blood and cut a few rips into it.

I borrowed a tie and teamed it with a black skirt and knee high socks.

I bought some 'geek' glasses. To be a proper school girl I tied my hair in pigtails and bought some checked ribbons from the market to tie round the end.

To make the outfit more Halloweeney, I used fake blood on my face and legs to make it look like I'd cut myself. Fake blood is essential on Halloween and so easy to use!

Making a Halloween outfit is so easy and can be cheap. Hope you had a good one and if you didn't, you need to get dressed up next year! It's so much fun.
